The AT20 Series of compact, lightweight scanners offers high-speed scanning, user-friendly operation and high durability, yet an affordable price. Advanced Scan PlusTM technology gives the AT20 Series twice the scanning speed of previous models, while the latest algorithms allow scanning of difficult-to-read barcodes. The scanners’ shock-absorbing construction enables them to withstand rugged usage.

The AT20 is a great, entry level healthcare\laboratory barcode scanner for both 2D\QR codes and barcodes.

  • Scanning method = Area sensor
  • Minimum resolution QR\2D barcodes = 0.167mm
  • Minimum resolution 1D barcodes = 0.125mm

Readable codes 2D = QR Code, Micro QR Code, SQRC, iQR, DataMatrix(ECC200), PDF417, MicroPDF417, Maxi code, Aztec, GS1 DataBar Composite(EAN.UCC Composite)

Readable codes 1D = EAN-13/8(JAN-13/8)、UPC-A/E、UPC/EAN(with add-on), Interleaved 2of5(ITF), Standard 2of5(STF),CODABAR(NW-7), CODE39, CODE93, CODE128, GS1-128(EAN-128), GS1 DataBar(RSS)

Laboratory barcodes pose real challenges. Tissue cassette cassette spend hours under vacuum pressure, submersed in paraffin, xylene and solvents before getting scanned. And cryogenic vials are stored at unimaginably cold temperatures for extended periods of time, before getting scanned. Barcodes on blood vials are round, not strait. They require perfect scan rates. Blood bags, wristbands and other patient identification assets all have their own barcode challenges.
