AT30Q Laboratory Barcode Scanner
The AT30Q is the go-to scanner for laboratory, healthcare and specimen identification applications.
Optimized with a high performance scan engine, the AT30Q is designed to read dirty, damaged and poorly printed codes. This makes the AT30Q ideal for difficult to read barcodes found with histology cassettes and slides, cryogenic vials, round sample tubes, blood bags and patient identifiers such as wristbands.
Weighing just 125g, the light and compact body reduces operator strain. Furthermore, a loud buzzer and highly visible check LED ensure readings are confirmed

Laboratory barcodes pose real challenges. Tissue cassette cassette spend hours under vacuum pressure, submersed in paraffin, xylene and solvents before getting scanned. And cryogenic vials are stored at unimaginably cold temperatures for extended periods of time, before getting scanned. Barcodes on blood vials are round, not strait. They require perfect scan rates. Blood bags, wristbands and other patient identification assets all have their own barcode challenges.
